Friends of the School

We have a very active 'Friends of the School' (FOS) who meet regularly and look at how best they can support the children in our school. They hold many different events over the course of the year which include cake sales, events, fundraising activities such as Christmas Card designing and the annual School BBQ!

They use the funds they raise to support the children both in the classroom and with events and activities which really enhance our children's experiences. In recent years they have raised money for technology in school, Easter egg hunts for everyone, Christmas activities, visits to a Pantomime, visitors and shows in school, books and outdoor play equipment and lots of other wonderful things!

Being a 'Friend of School' is an excellent way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially, in support of the school, working towards a common goal. It is fun too - just ask any of the Committee Members or helpers!

All families are automatically members of the Welbourn Church of England Primary School FOS when their child joins the school but a comittee of trustee members meet regularly to plan the events taking place. The FOS are always happy of more help and would love to hear from you if you are able to give some of your time.
